Office Depot was looking for a comprehensive approach to sales performance management that would provide visibility into sales compensation for all their reps.

The company wanted a compensation management solution that would help them fight the lack of transparency, which had been a problem in the past. Being able to give the sales reps that level of detail, for example down to a product group, was critical.

Focus on Strategic Roles
They also want to optimize the sales organization itself. Office Depot currently has 20 individuals working to manage sales compensation in a 2,000 reps organization. With Optymyze’s support, the company wants to limit down the number of people handling sales compensation and move more of those people into strategic roles in the organization.
