Optymyze Drives Sales Team Engagement and Faster Time to Value with Latest Cloud Service Enhancements
Company Delivered New Social Capabilities and Advanced Features that Simplify Sales Compensation Management and Expand Sales Performance Functionality
CHESTER, Pa. – May 23, 2016 – Optymyze, a worldwide provider of enterprise cloud applications and services for improving sales and channel performance, today announced details of the enhancements to Optymyze Sales Performance, its suite of sales performance management (SPM) cloud applications, and Optymyze Sales Platform, the company’s platform as a service (PaaS), which includes three integrated but distinct platforms–Optymyze Sales Analytics for data management and analytics, Optymyze Sales Planning for modeling and planning, and Optymyze Sales Studio for application development.
Introduced in the first quarter of 2016, these innovations deliver greater usability and flexibility to Optymyze’s SPM clients, helping companies more efficiently execute their sales strategies and drive greater sales results.
“The right tools are essential for creating sales force engagement and ensuring they have the resources, support, and intelligence to enable them to be successful,” said E.K. Koh, vice president of Products for Optymyze. “Optymyze is committed to providing our clients with the most innovative technology and services to address evolving sales force and sales operations management needs. With our Q1 product enhancements, we also improve the time to value across the suite of Optymyze cloud applications and platforms.”
Optymyze made several significant upgrades to its sales cloud applications and platforms throughout the first quarter of 2016, including:
Enhanced Social Capabilities to Drive Performance and Engagement
Optymyze Sales Objectives improves sales team collaboration and engagement. With the most recent product update, this application now provides greater flexibility and usability for users and administrators alike. Key improvements to core capabilities include more advanced social activity feeds and improved support for storing and displaying hierarchical information for people and objectives in the application.
As a result, sales organizations have greater flexibility to create and align sales objectives as needed, while ensuring salespeople receive the encouragement and feedback to continually improve.
Improved Sales Person Engagement and Simplified Management of Sales Compensation
To improve the engagement of salespeople, Optymyze Sales Compensation Management was expanded to include a software-generated what-if calculator for all incentive compensation plans. This user-friendly capability enables salespeople to calculate their potential earnings with a visual calculator that takes into account the various unique rules and parameters of their compensation plan.
In addition, this past quarter, Optymyze made it easier and faster for plan administrators to set up new compensation plans and manage existing ones. By adding the ability to share compensation plan parameters between different compensation plans, Optymyze streamlined a common challenge administrators face as they create new sales compensation plans.
In the first quarter, the company also introduced the ability to effectively date plan parameters within compensation plans, giving plan administrators much more flexibility in setting commission rates in a variety of circumstances that large enterprise companies commonly face.
New App Components for Optymyze Sales Studio
In the fourth quarter of 2015, Optymyze Sales Studio introduced app components, providing a building block-like approach to creating apps that can be snapped together and that work on both desktop and mobile devices.
In the first quarter, Optymyze continued to broaden the list of available app components with two additional components to help drive greater engagement for apps built with Optymyze Sales Studio. The newest components, mapping and X-Y charts, provide enhanced information visualization capabilities. The mapping component provides geographical maps, which are often useful for showing sales territory or account locations, and the X-Y chart component is useful for visualizing changes in common sales metrics.
“With the updates made in the first quarter, we have helped our customers improve sales person engagement and realize a faster time to value with Optymyze Sales Performance and Optymyze Sales Platform,” said Koh. “As the challenges facing sales managers continue to increase, Optymyze is committed to investing in technology that addresses market needs and that are best in class, equipping salespeople with the tools they need to succeed.”
